Systems AnalysisImaging Solutions, Inc. takes the time to analyze and learn about the issues at your organization before recommending an Enterprise Content Management system.
The system analysis performed by Imaging Solutions is started in the pre-sales phase. The initial requirements definition is scoped in our Statement of Work which is included as part of the system proposal package. Once a project is authorized by the customer to move forward, a more extensive analysis is undertaken in order to develop a System Design Specification. During this analysis phase, our project managers work with your team to ask many questions and listen to your answers and concerns.
The issues that are addressed during this phase include:
- User requirements
- IT requirements
- Document specifications, volumes, preparation and exception handling
- System capacity, response times and throughput rates
- Document retention
- Storage needs
- Workflow rules (e.g., flow diagrams) and change management
- Security
- Maintenance service levels
- Plans for any back file or data conversion/migration
- Training
Information obtained during the initial and any subsequent analysis is recorded in the System Design Specification. Once reviewed and approved by the project team, this document is used as the roadmap for development of the Enterprise Content Management system to be implemented.
